NICK HAMPTON

Nick has been designing things for over twenty years. As a qualified interior designer as well as holding a bachelor of arts in motion picture medium, Nick’s primary passion has always been with planning spaces. He worked as an architectural draughtsman before spending several years in art departments for numerous feature film and television productions. His real passion for gardens started when he moved to the U.K. in 2008 and began working for a residential landscaping company in South West London. After returning to South Africa, Nick met up with Wayne and they formed Oasis Design. He has been Head Designer and Co-director ever since.

WAYNE DOUCHA

Wayne grew up surrounded by plants. Coming from a family business that has serviced the South African green industry for decades, Wayne has a deep knowledge of plants - where they belong and how to best use them in a landscape. Wayne’s long career in the landscaping industry includes managing a prominent South African retail nursery, being part of the knowledgeable team at the London-based Fulham Palace garden center, before running his own landscaping company in Cape Town for several years. Wayne has exceptional inter-personal skills and knows how to get things done. He is a true problem solver.
