Project Process
Oasis Design offers a complete service. From an initial consultation right through to a finished garden. This process is broken down into 4 basic stages.
1. Client Brief
The initial consultation is free of charge. Once you have contacted us to discuss your outdoor area, we will arrange to meet you and take a look at the space. It’s an informal discussion where we talk about you, your family and your lifestyle. You tell us what you like, what you dont like and your ideas on how you would like to use your outdoor space.
The brief comes from you and we listen. This enables us to offer you a design solution that fulfills your requirements and makes you want to spend all of your time in your new garden.
2. Design Concept
After meeting with you to discuss your garden project, we provide you with a quote. This is for a design concept, which takes the form of a well-thought out, researched and beautifully presented design document - illustrating our design direction for your space. This includes to-scale plans, elevations & 3D sketches, (if required) supporting reference imagery as well as representations of plant palettes that we propose to use. We will arrange to meet in person to present the design concept to you.
3. Design Development
Once you are happy with the design concept outlined in phase 2 above, we will proceed with developing your design. Working plans will be drawn up, which will allow our skilled team as well as any required specialist sub-contractors to bring the design to life. You will receive a detailed planting schedule which indicates exact plant species, their size and quantities. We also supply a detailed bill of quantities and a quote, which gives you a very clear breakdown of costs as well as well as project time-frame.
4. Project Installation
Our expert team gets to work in transforming your space. This process can be anything from a few days to a few months and we will supply you with an accurate program so that you know exactly what is happening at all times. The entire installation process is managed by us and overseen by the company directors, ensuring that everything that happens on site is in line with the approved design. We ensure that the entire project team has a good understanding of the scope of work. This enables them to do their best work and to pour themselves into the project.
